US Defenders

The US Defenders is a grass roots manpower movement formed from within each Confederation of Clubs from every state. Composed of State Citizen Biker manpower from Motorcycle Clubs and C.O.I.R (Coalition of Independent Riders) representatives, the US Defenders work in solidarity for the common good of our communities and to defend the Constitution of these Unites States of America.

Mission

The US Defenders stand ready to implement and support motorcycle rights organizations and other organization’s “Call-to-Actions” that are identified as falling within each Confederation of Club’s agenda. The US Defenders also “Stand at the Ready” when it comes to assisting your State’s Civil Defense in emergency situations such as tornado or flood damage that may befall our communities.
To get more information on how the US Defenders drives change and assists the biker community, please visit the US Defenders website.  Look for the US Defenders App to add to your smart phone!

“Questions & Answers”

Q. Do I need to belong to a motorcycle club or riding association to be a part of the C.O.I.R.?
A. No, the C.O.I.R. is an affiliation of independent motorcyclists who are prepared to do their part in helping to keep motorcycling a true American expression of freedom.

Q. Is The C.O.I.R. a motorcycle rights organization or MRO?
A. No, the C.O.I.R. is not a MRO or a member “funded” type organization. However, some MROs play a very important role in helping to identify and design the “Fight for our Rights” type campaigns that the NNMCOC and the C.O.I.R. support with manpower.

Q. What is a “Call-to-Action?”
A. When a MRO or a “rights” association needs support to help implement grass roots strategies such as letter writing to legislators the C.O.I.R. will be called upon to assist with the manpower to help implement the “Action”. The C.O.I.R., working in concert with the M/Cs, riding associations, and local offices of Emergency Management, is also prepared to offer post disaster assistance to needy families and individuals if called upon by civil authorities to do so.

Q. Who are the US Defenders?
A. US Defenders are men and women from the Confederation of Clubs and the C.O.I.R. who volunteer to represent the different clubs and groups. The US Defenders receive training in grass roots strategies and then take that training back to their clubs and groups. Find out more about these dedicated men and women by attending a regional COC meeting in your area. Working together we can make a difference!
